Sorry no posting...

I'm sure all of you read our mom's blog, so you know about the whole mud thing. It really stinks.

Which is why we haven't really had the time to post about the Christmas party, although it went well. I don't have enough time to post about it now, but I will post about it soon. I promise. As soon as Mama gets home, whenever that may be.

Josefie's First Week, Part 2

Hey everyone!

Sorry we never finished our story, we just never had the time!

Anyways, here's what happened on Wednsday:

I walking with Josefie and Cecily from Science, the three of us chatting happily. Lizzy and Felicity (who now likes to be called Felicy) joined us at the end of the hall with Lily trailing behind them. Lizzy and Lily were deep in conversation about what determines a flower petal's cover, with Felicy listening and occasionally making a comment.

Suddenly, Lily fell silent and put her head down. I looked to see what she had caused her silence. And there she was. Rema.

She was looing at her reflection in a mirror placed in her locker. I tapped Josefie on the shoulder.

"Josefie," I said, preparing to launch into the story. "That's-"

Josefie gasped before I could finished. "Rema!"

Rema looked up from the mirror, her eyes searching the hall until they fell on us. A look of surprise and...delight? Rema was delighted to see us!

"Josefie!"

Confusion swept through me.

"You...you know her?" I asked Josefie, feeling dizzy.

"Of course! She was one of my amigas back at American Girl. Then she got shipped away," Josefie answered excitedly. She ran foreward and embraced Rema. "I can't believe it's really you!"

"Me niether!" Rema replied. I'd never seen her so happy in my life. "When..." she trailed off when she saw us. "You're with them?"

"Si. They-" Josefie gestured to Lizzy, Felicy, and me. "They're my new sisters!"

"No. Way." Rema said. "You're friends with them?!"

"Si. They're great sisters!" Josefie exclamed, still yelling with excitement.

"Well," Rema said, a bit of humor entering her voice. "I guess that means I'll have to start being nice to you guys."

Oh my gosh. Rema was joking around. Like she was our friend! I couldn't believe it. She gets around a good friend and bam! She turns nice.

Josefie laughed. "What do you mean?" she asked Rema.

Rema didn't take her eyes off of us. "Well, we got off to a bit of a...rough start. I missed you so much, Josefie! I...I wasn't very nice to anyone. I turned into a...well, I turned into a bully." She turned to Josefie. "I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to. I didn't really realize it until Amythest confronted me." Rema turned back to us. "I'm sorry. For being mean and all. And you can bet I'll be at your Chirstmas party. If you want, I could help get it ready.

I was so surprised that I couldn't answer for a moment. Finally, I managed to say, "No, that's not nessesary. You're a guest. Thank you very much for the offer, though."

Rema smiled at me. "Okay. I hope this means we can be friends."

I smiled back. "I"ll have to get back to you on that."

Rema laughed. A good, nice laugh. Not laughing at me, laughing with me.

And I realized that, under all of the sadness of being torn away from her best friend, there was a nice person. Well, there was now that she and Josefie were back together again.

All I can say is, I can't wait until the Christmas party next week.

Josefie's First Week

Hey everyone! So sorry we didn't post this during the week, but we were so busy. Anyways, some surprising stuff happened during the week! Josefie and I (Amythest) will take turns posting about it. And any words Josefie use that are in Spanish, I've asked her to ask me what they are in English and write that instead of the Spanish word. So, here goes!

I'm starting.

Well, when we first got to MVAD on Sunday night, we took Josefie to the front office to get her schedule and supplies. We showed her where all of her classrooms are. She has at least one class with each of us, which is good. Finally, we went and spoke to the director of out play, Mr. Yorkson. He asked what Josefie could do. I exchanged a glance with Elizabeth, because this was something we hadn't discussed. Josefie stepped foreward.

"I like to sing," she said. We all stared at her. She hadn't told us this.

"Alright, then," Mr. Yorkson said. "Let's hear a voice!"

Josefie blushed, embarrassed. "What do you want me to sing?"

Mr. Yorkson thought for a minute before turning and disappearing into his office. He came back with a music book in his hands, open to a page that said, "Maybe, from the musical Annie". Josefie's eyes lit up.

"I know that song!" she said excitedly.

"Sing it for me," Mr. Yorkson said.

Josefie hesitated before taking the music book. She studied the words for a moment before she began to sing.

I hadn't heard the song before, but the way she sang it made me feel like I'd heard it a thousand times before. She was the most beautiful singer I'd ever heard, flowing through the notes perfectly. I could hear every note, every syllable, every letter the song contained. I hung on to the last word, and when she finished I felt dizzy. I didn't want the song to end.

Mr. Yorkson looked unmoved. "Yes, you've got a very nice voice there," he said briskly. "I can certainly let you be in the show. However, you will have to be a backround voice. I wish I could give you a better singing part, but it would be tragic to make someone else move aside, no? Although, no doubt, you certainly would be fenomonal at any of the singing roles. You all are." He winked at us and disappeared back into his office.

"He's a funny man, no?" Josefie asked, and we all laughed. We talked the rest of the way to the dorm.

Funnier things have been happening...TO BE CONTINUED

About Josefie

Hey everyone! Thistle here, as usual. But I've asked Josefie to post on here for the first time and tell us about herself, and she was extatic!

"I would be honrodo (translation: honored) to post on your website! You are all so simpatica (translation: nice)!" she said excitedly.

So, let's take away the curtain. Here is......JOSEFINA!!!

Hola! I'm Josefina, but you can call me Josefie. My color favorito (translation by Amythest: favorite color) is anaranjado (translation by Amythest: orange). I love to go outside! I animals have an especial (translation by Amythest: special) place in my heart. My ojos (translation by Amythest: eyes) are color cafe (translation by Amythest: brown). I have long, negro (translation by Amythest: black) hair. I play the violin and I love cantar (translation by Amythest: to sing). I hope to be posting again soon!
<3,
Josefie

Hey there! Thistle again. Don't you just love Josefie's accent? I mean, you can't really hear it if you're ust reading text, but you can kinda tell by the way she uses spanish words and all...My favorite word in Spanish is anaranjado. It just sounds so cool!

Anyways, that's really all I can do for now. Later, we're putting together an interview for Josefie and I'll be posting that soon!

A special guest!

Mama woke us up and told us to all get dressed, because there was a very special guest coming and we wanted to look nice.

We all rushed around, speaking as we got ready about who the special guest could be. Lizzy proposed that it could be one of our teachers, coming to talk about our report card grades. Felicity thought that it might be an old friend. I wasn't sure of either of those.

Finally, when we were all dressed and ready, we waited by the door. I was so nervous, and I could see that my sisters were, as well. Mama was smiling.

Finally, the door opened. There was a rustling, and a sweet voice called, "Hola...?"

Was it a Spanish teacher at our school? None of us took Spanish as a class yet...

I strained to see the visitor, who was blocked from my view by a column in the living room. Finally, the person walked around the column, and I was staring right into the face of...

Josefina Montoya! I didn't know what was going on for a moment.

Then it hit me. Josefina Montoya was my new sister.

Oh. My. Gosh. My sister! She was here! She certainly was a special guest!!

Mama told us to get acquainted while she went downstairs and made snacks. I was so excited that I pulled Josefina into a hug. I could tell she was startled, but then she seemed happy that I wasn't being awkward, and soon Lizzy had joined the hug. Felicity didn't join, but she's not the hugging type with strangers.

Soon, we were all seated on the floor talking about who we were, our backstories, basically everything. Josefina (who told us to call her Josefie) pulled out her most prized posessions: a beautiful pendant that Lizzy helped her put on, her hankerchief, and a coin that she says she worked very hard to earn.

I can tell she's going to be a great sister. I'll blog more about it tomorrow, but it's getting late and my sisters are calling me. But first, did I mention that Josefie has a very thick Spanish accent and uses Spanish words when she speaks English? She speaks Spanglish, really. Like she says, "I am muy feliz about being your hermana (translation: sister)!" I do speak some Spanish, which comes in handy...

Anyways, I'm getting off now. Bye!

Note from Lizzy: Josefie? She's going to be great! I can't wait to get to know her better and be her sister!

Note from Felicity: She's nice. Really nice. That's all I could have really hoped for. :)

Is it really going to happen? A post by Felicity

Hey there! This is Felicity. First time posting on here...it's really cool. But Thistle had to show me how to do it. I'm not really good with technology, I"m much better at designing clothes. And I love to dance. So I've kind-of been avoiding posting on here, but Amythest asked me to post about this since I've got more experience.

Well, a new doll. It's really exciting for my sisters. Lizzy has only seen it happen once, but Thistle's the newest doll and can hardly contain her excitement. It's really the only thing she can think about.

For me? For me, getting a new doll is....fun, I guess. The first time, when we got Lizzy, I was so excited to have a sister. Then Thistle came along and it was amazing, but now...now it's just old news to me.

To tell the truth, I'm a little worried. I got lucky with Lizzy and Thistle. They're as nice and innocent as nice and innocent get. But what if this new doll...what if she's not? I can only hope she is. I'm the tough one around here, I protect my sisters. I don't want to have to protect them against their own sister.

I guess I shouldn't worry. I can't see why a doll from American Girl would be so mean.

But then I think of Milly. And Rema. They were so mean. I know Rema's coming to the holiday party and all, maybe she'll change, but Milly never did. She was mean-hearted all the way through. And Lizzy and I really tried to be nice to her. But she wouldn't have it. We baked her a cupcake, but she threw it in Lizzy's face and it got all over her clothes. We got her a teddy bear for her birthday, but she took out her sissors and snipped away at it until it was only some scraps of stuffing. She handed us a little bead that used to be the eye of the little bear and gave us a little smile.

"Thanks," I remember her saying. "But teddy bears aren't my type."

You don't take a present and make it into little scraps of fabric. Lizzy cried all the way home.

Lizzy went through a lot of change when Thistle came. Lizzy used to be small and helpless, but she stepped up to protect our new little sister when she came along. Will Thistle change, too? Maybe, maybe not. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Well, that's how I feel about getting a new doll. Maybe I'll come and post on here more often, it's kinda fun. ;)

2ND POST OF THE DAY

OH MY GOSH!!!

I know this is my second post of the day, but I'm so excited that I can't wait until tomorrow to post!!!

WE ARE GETTING A NEW SISTER!!!! OH MY GOSH!!! I looked on Doodledog's site (she's my owner, in case you didn't know), and she said she's getting someone! The only thing is, I think she thought I might look on her blog and blocked me from seeing which doll she's getting. So the identity of our sister remains a secret.

Okay, now I'm just going to scream, because I can't contain my excitement.

I'VE NEVER BEEN HERE WHERE WE GOT A NEW DOLL BEFORE! IT'S A FIRST FOR ME! FELICITY SEEMED TO JUST BLOW IT OFF BECAUSE IT'S THE THIRD TIME IT'S HAPPENED, BUT LIZZY STARTED SCREAMING WITH ME~
OH MY GOSH!
I WONDER WHO IT IS!
I HOPE SHE'S NICE!
HERE'S THE LIST OF DOLLS THAT I THINK DOODLEDOG MIGHT GET:
KIT
LANIE (MAYBE, PROBABLY NOT)
JOSEFINA
ONE OF THE "MY AMERICAN GIRLS"
KRISTEN FROM eBAY

I CAN'T WAIT! SORRY FOR SO MUCH SCREAMING!!

Rema and the Holiday Party Asking

I couldn't think of a title...so yeah. And Happy Thanksgiving!

Anyway, the five of us (me, Lizzy, Felicity, Cecily, and Lily) started planning the holiday party. Felicity took some persuading on asking Rema to it, but she finally agreed. The holiday party's going to be on the last day before winter break-December 17th. We planned who would get what-the food, the decorations, the invitations, and who would ask Rema to it. I volunteered for the last one and helping with the invitations. Everyone was happy to let me invite her-Felicity was still unsure about inviting her at all.

Then the day came. I had to ask her then so she would have time to RSVP. I got my math textbook and placed it into my backpack (which Mrs. Lilerson had nicely gotten back for me) and stood up. I looked around, knowing Rema would be near. I was correct. She was a few yards away talking with one of her friends. I spotted Cecily nodding at me around the corner. I took a deep breath and approached Rema. Her friend caught sight of me and pointed, saying something to Rema that made her turn around. A dark look crossed her face.

"What do you want?" she snapped when I got close enough to hear her.

I held up the invitation. "I wanted to invite you to a holiday party my friends and I are holding. Thought you might be interested."

She looked unsure. "How do I know you won't embarrass me there?"

"Firstoff, I wouldn't do anything like that. And the principal's going to be there," I replied easily.

There was a pause. Then Rema waved her hand in the air. "Why would I want to go to a party organized by a bunch of loosers?"

Before I spoke with Mrs. Lilerson, I would have gotten offended and stormed off. Instead, I laughed. "I don't know. You do unexpected things. Look, we got off on the wrong foot, and I thought this might be a chance to...start over. For all of us." I gestured to Cecily. Rema looked at her for a long moment before turning back to me.

"Okay. I'll come to your little holiday party. But if it's lame, I leave. Got it?"

I smiled. "Got it."

Rema walked away, her friends following her and asking her questions, probably wondering why she said yes. She seemed to be brushing them off.

Cecily came bouncing over. "What'd she say?"

I straitened up and rolled my eyes in an imitation of her. "I'll come to your little holiday party. But if it's lame, I leave. Her exact words."

Cecily whistled. "Wow. I can't believe she said yes. It doesn't seem like her.

I'd thought about that. "I know. I think she wants friends, not just ones who like her for her popularity. And I think she believes that will be us."

How it Worked Out

Finally...the ending to my story. Thanks so much for all of the supportive comments!

Also, thanks for the four followers!!!

Okay. So, I dragged the dumbfounded Cecily to the principal's office.

"You mean...now they'll see how mean she is?" she asked, as if in a daze.

"Yep," I replied.

"And they'll see how she stole your backpack?"

"Yep."

"Wow," she said, looking back to the hallway.

"I know," I said proudly, and we both took off toward the office.

When we got there, we were motioned inside where the principal, Mrs. Lilerson, waited.

"How can I help you?" she asked, giving us a kind smile.

And I told her the whole story, starting with when we first met Lily and Cecily, and ending with when Rema stole my backpack on camera. Mrs. Lilerson listened intenty throuought the entire thing, only asking questions when I paused in the story.

When we were done, there was a long silence.

"Well, now," Mrs. Lilerson said finally. "What do you want to do? Get her expelled?"

Cecily was nodding intently next to me, but I didn't agree with her.

"No," I said. "I just wanted you to know it was going on." I was aware of my best friend staring at me in confusion next to me, but I kept going. "It needs to stop, but I don't think she should get expelled. I don't know why she's like this, but there's got to be a reason. And I want to end this rivalry between us. I want us-" I paused and took a deep breath. "I want us to be friends, if possible."

Cecily's mouth was open, though no sound was coming out. She closed it, only to open it again in awe.

But Mrs. Lilerson was smiling. "Amythest, you are a very mature person. And I believe you are completely right. I was hoping for that answer. Now, exactly how do you expect to become her friend if she resents you so much?"

I remembered my comment from Hannah and said without hesitation, "I'm going to invite her to a holiday party in my dorm."

"Perfect," Mrs. Lilerson replied. "I will come to the holiday party, too, if you don't mind, and make sure nothing...let's say...bad happens."

I nodded. "That would be wonderful. Thank you, Mrs. Lilerson."

She smiled again. "You are very welcome. Now, go along to your next class before you're late!"

I dipped my head and led Cecily out. She stopped me when we got outside.

"You want to be friends with her? And invite her to a holiday party?" she asked.

"You don't have to come if you don't want," I offered.

Cecily shook her head. "No, I'm coming. I was just making sure it was what you wanted to do. See, I've wanted to end this thing between her and I for a long time, but she never would. Now's my chance. Thanks, Amythest."

I smiled at her. "You're welcome. Now, come on, let's find the others. We've got a holiday party to plan!"

How things have been going...Part 2

So, scroll down if you haven't read part one. If you've already read part 1, keep reading.

I stared at my friend and my enemy, so close together yet such hatred being exchanged between them. I remembered Hannah's advice: If she bullies your friends, stand up to her. I assume screaming names at one of my best friends counted. I ran up, dropping my backpack on the ground. I took a deep breath and got between them.

"STOP!!!" I yelled so loud, they both were forced to stop and stare at me. I looked at the crowd gathered around them. "Does anyone know what happened?"

One brunette girl came up warily. "Um, I was at my locker, and I turned around. Then Rema bumped into Cecily and told her to watch where she was going. Cecily said something, and then they were both screaming."

"What I said," Cecily murmured,"Was to stop lying."

"Look," I said. "Cecily, I'll talk to you. But Rema," I turned to the girl who hated me, "what is your problem?"

Rema stared at me for a moment. "My problem?"

"Yeah," I said. "Why do you want to ruin our lives? You need to stop it. Maybe you had trouble with Cecily before, but honestly, can't you just let it go? You write in permanent marker on our lockers, knowing it would get us in trouble-"

"Well, you washed it off," Rema mumbled. I couldn't help but smile.

"Yeah, but it still got me and my siblings in trouble," I retort. "Now you bump into us every chance you get? Do you really think it's going to hurt us?" Rema opened her mouth, as if to reply, but I cut her off. "Well, think again. You can waste your time on this all you want, but we're not going to waste our time on you."

Rema looked at loss for a moment. Then her face hardened. "You're already wasting your time. I won't stop, not until you've dropped out of this school and you're gone for good!" She gave us a smirk and stalked off.

I sighed and turned to Cecily. "Next time," I said, "just ignore her." Cecily shook her head, clearly in shock. I smiled and took her hand, leading her to where I had dropped off my backpack.

But it wasn't there.

I stared at the empty spot for a few moments before it registered.

"She took your backpack?" Cecily screamed. "How could she do that? What are you going to do?"

I only smiled and pointed to the ceiling. Cecily's eyes traced the path of my finger before they locked on the tiny camera whose eye had seen everything that had just happened.

How things have been going...

Not so great. I got this comment:

Hannah said:
Hi! I'm the first follower. Here's some advice:

1. Continue ignoring her.
2. If she bullies you or your friends, stand up to her. If she says with a smirk "I think your really pretty" then you use the same tone of voice and say "And I think your really nice." It works! Hannah

P.S. I wonder if they know Tara and Jadyn from Chrissa's school, Edgewater Elementary. I also have a blog called agfunwithmeandh.blogspot.com. If you would follow that, it would be really great!

Well, first off, thanks so much for the support and advice!

So I told my sisters what you said. We all agreed that it was very good advice and do as Hannah said.

Rema ran into me the next day again, but I payed no attention to her. Well, I pretended to pay no attention to her, but I was still looking at her out of the corner of my eye.

"Hey, open your eyes!" she yelled, anger in her eyes. "You just ran into me!"

Still, I ignored her. I reached my "decorated" locker and got out the sponge and some kind of solution that was supposed to remove the sharpie. I dabbed the sponge in the stuff and began to rub my locker, amazed when the sharpie came clean off. Well, that was one problem solved. I would give the solution to my sisters to use on their lockers when I saw them.

I got the things that I needed from my locker and closed it with a smile. I slung my backpack accross my back and turned. My smile melted off my face.

Rema was at it again, but this time it was a full-on word fight with Cecily. No fists were being thrown, but it was a screamfest.

I can't believe it...about two different things.

I. Play. A. Lead.

Oh. My. Gosh. They told everyone at our first rehearsal today...I play a lead!!! I can't believe it!

Wow. That's awesome. But....

See, it's about bully problems. That girl Rema that Lizzy posted about (click here if you have no idea what I'm talking about) has been giving us troubles ever since we made friends with Lily and Cecily. She's been trying to make our lives miserable!

Today, I saw her three times. Each time, I tried to act like I hadn't seen her, but she would always run into me and say a really loud, "Sorry." But you could tell she didn't really mean it. I didn't let that bother me.

But then I realized that everyone was avoiding me. No one would look at me. No one would talk to me. This upset me. And that was before I went to my locker.

My locker had sharpie written all over it. It said things like, "Unpopular" and "I hang out with uncool people." People were walking by and snickering at it. SHARPIE!!! Sharpie doesn't come off. Believe me, I tried. Really hard.

Now, not only had Rema embarrassed me, but she had gotten me in trouble with staff, too. We aren't allowed to decorate our locker, let alone write in sharpie on it. And they didn't believe me when I said that I hadn't done it, Rema had.

"Rema?" they had said. "That sweetie wouldn't do a thing like that."

So, by the time I reached the dorm, I was very upset. I could tell by the looks on my sisters' faces that they hadn't had a much better day. And it's only Monday.

What are we going to do?

New Friends-A Post by Lizzy

Hey! This is Lizzy (real name Elizabeth)! I know...my first post!

But Thistle is down with Mama making dinner, and she asked me to post about this. Yay!

Okay, so yesterday, WE MADE NEW FRIENDS AT SCHOOL!!!

It was really exciting. So, we were walking into the lunchroom side by side after visiting our lockers to drop off our books. We went to the pick-up location in the cafeteria (Mama drops off our lunches every day so we don't have to buy). We looked around, trying to find some space at a table. I had just suggested cramming into a table that was crowded when Thistle pointed out two dolls sitting at a table by themselves.

"We should sit with them," she said. It wasn't a question.

"Agreed," I said. "They look so lonely."

"I know if  I was one of them," Felicity said," I would want someone to come and sit with me."

So we all started toward the table. The two other dolls didn't even look up when we sat down, but one of them got a nasty look on her face.

"What do you want, Rema?" she asked, saying the name Rema like it was poisonous. "Come to taunt us more?"

"Um..." Thistle began, looking confused. "Who's Rema?"

The two dolls looked up in surprise. Then the doll who hadn't spoken yet spoke. "You don't know who Rema is?"

"No," Thistle said carefully. "Is she a friend of yours?"

Both of the dolls got a funny look on their face. "Rema? Our firend?" The idea seemed perposterous to them. "We should hope not!"

One of the dolls-the one with brunette hair-pointed to an over-crowed table. "That's Rema."

There were at least a dozen dolls at the table she pointed to. But we knew who it was. She was the one staring right at us.

"She's the most popular girl here," the other doll-a redhead-told us. I watched as Rema, without taking her gaze from us-leaned over and whispered something to her friend. Her friend looked over, and they both stared at us. It looked like they were trying to remember what we looked like.

"If you guys ever want to be talked to by anybody, I would leave right now," the redhead warned. Thistle looked at her in surprise.

"Did you guys...."she trailed off.

"Well...we used to be friends with her," the brunette said. "Then I got in to a big fight with her over...Well, we stopped being friends. I tried to apologize, but Rema wouldn't have it. And Lily here," she gestured to the redhead, "took my side. So we were basically shunned by the whole school, and you guys will most likely get the same treatment if you don't leave."

Felicity looked angry. "She must be really shallow if she stops being your friend after one lousy argument."

Lily looked at us earnestly. "Ever dealt with a bully?"

Thistle shook her head, but Felicity and I exchanged a glance. Memories raced through my head.

"Well," I said. "Before Amythest came, Felicity and I went to a different school. There was a bully there." Thistle looked at us in surprise.

"You never told me that," she said.

Felicity shrugged. "There was no point. Her name was Milly. She was a bully. She didn't like us. That's all."

There's a lot more to it than that, I thought, but didn't say it aloud.

"Well, Rema's a bully. She's stuck-up, snobbish, and shallow. All there is to it," the brunette, named Cecily, said.

"It's funny how 'stuck-up, snobbish, and shallow' all start with the letter s," Thistle noticed.

I gasped. "I love the letter s!" They all looked at me funny. I grinned, and we all burst out laughing.

And, before we knew it, we were chatting like crazy about all kinds of different things. And by the time my sisters and I left the cafeteria, we had two new friends.

-Lizzy

P.S. You can tell my style of writing is way different than Thistle's. She's a much better writer than me.

The Play Results

Sorry sorry sorry! I meant to post yesterday, but time just got away from me. Anyways, here's the play results:

We all waited in our dorms. Unlike an ordinary school, ours sends a letter to your dorm with the cast list. There was a knock on the door, and Lizzy shot out of her seat. She came back from the door squealing with excitement. The letter was in her hand. We bent over her as she ripped it open-Lizzy is not a patient person-and scanned the cast list.

No. Way.

It's no surprise that Lizzy got the lead role, but ME?????? I made it in??? It says on the invatation that my character is a lead, but it can't be. It's impossible. They wouldn't let ME get that part if it was a lead.

Felicity got in, too. No surprise there.

It's cool I got in. But I can't have. Maybe there's a typo, or another Amythest that tried out and they forgot to put her last name. I'm not a good actress. I didn't get in.

The Audition

The audition was today!
Okay, so here's basically what happened (with some pictures to accompany it):
At 5 sharp, the three of us raced to room 2. There was a large line of dolls outside, all of them either chatting excitedly, sitting there looking nervous, or reviewing their monologues. We went to the back of the line and waited, Felicity and I hardly listening as Lizzy talked away. She talks too much (Lizzy, since I know you're going to read this, I AM TOTALLY KIDDING!!!). I quietly reviewed my monologue once in my head, but one look at Felicity (who was staring at Rebecca Rubin, who was wearing her best dress) told me that she was thinking of some way she could make the dress more stylish while still keeping it's "glowing" (as Felicity would put it) effect.
The door to room 2 slowly got closer and closer. It was about 5:10 PM when Lizzy went in, shooting us an excited look before disappearing behind the door. I peered inside the small crack between the wood of the door and the doorframe, taking pictures like Mama asked me to.

Lizzy did great! No, not great, WONDERFUL! FANTASTIC! She got all of her lines right, acted angry, and even added in a faint (which wasn't written in her script) that made complete sense!
She walked out, looking happy, and grinned at me. I turned to Felicity to tell her that she could go next, but she had walked up to Rebecca and was in deep conversation with her about how to tweak her dress.
which meant it was my turn.
I handed the camera to Lizzy and walked into the room. The three judges looked me up and down, whispering words to each other that I couldn't hear. I took a deep breath.
"Hi, I'm Amythest, and I will be trying out for the chorus," I said, hoping I sounded more confident than I felt.
The judges looked surprised when I told them that I was trying to be in the chorus. The exchanged a glance with each other and jotted something down on their clipboards.
Lizzy was outside, snapping pictures as I did my monologue.

Apparently, I did better than I thought I did.
Then, it was Felicity's turn.

Felicity was amazing, too!

I just hope we all get in...we find out on Monday. I will post then!!    -Thistle

Welcome!

Hi and Welcome! I am Amythest, an 18 inch American Girl Just Like You doll who loves to write. This website is called "Us Dolls" because sometimes my sisters will come on and write, too, since they have the password.
That's all for now, but I will have a post up on Friday or Saturday on how our audition went!

Bye! -Thistle
